Please read our return, refund and exchange policy carefully before placing your Growatt order.
Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for defective items. The return window begins on the day you receive your order, as confirmed by the shipping carrier's delivery record. Returns requested after this 30-day period may not be accepted.
Defective Product Procedure
If you receive a Growatt inverter or battery that is faulty, damaged in transit, or does not match the model ordered, contact us immediately. Document the defect with photos or video (including the model label and serial number) and send it to support@growatinverter.com or via WhatsApp. Our technical team will review and advise next steps, often in coordination with Growatt's regional service centre.
Condition Requirements
Returned items must be unused and in their original Growatt packaging, including all accessories — WiFi/LAN dongles, mounting brackets, communication cables, manuals, and any battery base/top covers. The product must show no signs of installation, DC/AC wiring, water exposure or physical modification.
Installed & Commissioned Equipment
Inverters that have been wired to a PV array or grid, and batteries that have been charged, discharged or commissioned through ShinePhone are not eligible for return. They are covered instead by Growatt's manufacturer warranty (typically 5 years on inverters, 10 years on ARK and APX LFP batteries). We will assist you in raising a warranty case with the regional service centre.
Exchange Policy
We offer exchanges for defective items only. If your Growatt unit is confirmed defective within the 30-day return window, you may request a like-for-like replacement instead of a refund. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the exact model is out of stock, we will offer a full refund or a comparable Growatt alternative.
No Returns for Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or exchanges due to change of mind, wrong model selection, or buyer's remorse. Please confirm phase, kW rating, MPPT count, battery compatibility and grid code with our team before placing your order.
Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for all return shipping and handling costs, unless the product was originally collected from our Dubai warehouse. For items damaged due to carrier mishandling, we will work with the carrier to recover return costs.
RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) Process
Step 1: Email support@growatinverter.com or WhatsApp us with photos/video of the defect plus the serial number. Step 2: Our team reviews and issues an RMA number within 1-2 business days. Step 3: Pack the unit securely with the RMA number visible on the box. Step 4: Ship to the address provided. Step 5: We inspect within 2 business days. Step 6: Refund or replacement is issued upon confirmation.
Refund Method & Timeline
Once the defect is confirmed, your refund is processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method. You may also opt for store credit toward another Growatt purchase. Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original transaction.
International Returns
This return policy applies to all customers in the regions we serve: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. International customers are responsible for return shipping and any applicable customs fees. For European customers, statutory consumer rights under EU law apply in addition to this policy.
